What is Nawaz Sharif Center of Excellence Lahore?

The Nawaz Sharif Center of Excellence for Early Childhood Education in Lahore is a major step forward for public schooling in Punjab. Launched by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, this project changes the game by giving children from working-class families access to premium, international-standard preschool education completely free of charge.

Instead of old-school rote learning, the center uses a modern, play-based approach inspired by global teaching methods like Reggio Emilia. The campus itself looks more like a high-end private academy than a typical public school, featuring vibrant classrooms, art studios, an indoor gym, and a swimming pool. Kids here don't just learn English and Urdu; they are even introduced to international languages early on. Ultimately, the center aims to serve two purposes: providing a world-class start for young learners and acting as a training hub to upgrade teaching standards across the entire province.

Nawaz Sharif Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Education, Lahore / Children Library Complex, School Education Department, invites applications from eligible candidates for the difference teaching positions on lumpsum pay package.

Vacancies:

1. Homeroom Teacher
2. Gymnastic Coach (Female)
3. Swimming Coach
4. Assistant Teacher

Eligibility Criteria:

Homeroom Teacher 

• Education: Minimum 16 years of qualification in Education or related field from a university recognized by HEC. Preference will be given to those with degree in education and/or ECCE diploma/certificate or related qualifications.
• Experience: Minimum 02 years of verifiable relevant experience in a similar position.
• Age: 25 to 35 Years
• Salary: 150,000 Rupees 

Gymnastic Coach (Female)

• Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Physical Education or related fields from HEC recognized Institute.
• Experience: Minimum 02 years of verifiable relevant experience in a similar position.
• Age: 25 to 35 Years
• Salary: 100,000 Rupees 

Swimming Coach 

• Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Physical Education or related fields from HEC recognized Institute.
• Experience: Minimum 02 years of verifiable relevant experience in a similar position.
• Age: 25 to 35 Years
• Salary: 100,000 Rupees 

Assistant Teacher

• Education: Minimum 16 years of qualification in Education or related field from a university recognized by HEC. Preference will be given to candidates with ECCE diploma/certificate or related qualifications.
• Experience: Minimum 01 years of verifiable relevant experience in a similar position.
• Age: 23 to 30 Years
• Salary: 70,000 Rupees

4. The recruitment will be made in accordance with the Contract Policy 2004.
5. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
6. No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates.

8. The Competent Authority may cancel the whole process at any stage without assigning any reason.
