What is Daanish School Islamabad?
The Islamabad Daanish School, located in the Kuri area, is a state-of-the-art federal project designed to provide free, high-quality boarding education to highly underprivileged and marginalized children. Replicating the successful Punjab Daanish Schools model championed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, this Rs. 4.8 billion mega-project aims to bridge the socioeconomic educational divide.
The federal facility accommodates up to 1,800 students from Grade 6 to Intermediate level, focusing on smart classrooms, digital literacy, and holistic development. Catering to a highly competitive selection process that attracts thousands of applicants nationwide—particularly from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir—the school serves as a transformative beacon of social equity and merit-based academic excellence for Pakistan's most vulnerable youth.
Overview:
Applications are invited from eligible candidates as per the eligibility criteria mentioned against the following position of the teachers for Daanish School Kuri, Islamabad, Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training Islamabad. The posts will be filled purely on contract basis with pay scale DS-16 (Daanish Scale), along with one additional pay allowance. Initially, the contract will be awarded for a period of three (03) years which can be further extended upon satisfactory performance.
Note: Above-mentioned pay scales are equivalent to BPS of government with one additional allowance of basic pay salary.
