FIA Jobs 2026 Apply Online
What is Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)?
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is Pakistan’s premier federal law enforcement and criminal investigation body. Established under the FIA Act of 1974, it operates directly under the Ministry of Interior. Headquartered in Islamabad, the agency is tasked with safeguarding national security by tackling complex, cross-border, and federal-level offenses.
Unlike traditional provincial police, the FIA specializes in modern transnational threats. Its specialized wings actively investigate cybercrime, human trafficking, money laundering, intellectual property theft, public-sector corruption, and terrorism financing. Additionally, the FIA acts as Pakistan's official liaison with Interpol and manages immigration control across all national borders and airports.
